The Hare reopens on Tuesday 26th February under new management and looks back to the fondly remembered era of the Hare & Hounds.
The Hare Bar & Restaurant in Lambourn Woodlands is a Grade II listed former coaching inn dating back to 1630. Extended in 2009, it features a modern lounge/bar and a restaurant almost double in size.
A relaxed and pleasant ambience pervades the comfortable dining areas, each with its own distinctive appeal. The Garden Room is available for private parties and can be closed off from the other areas.
In the summer months, we offer al fresco dining under a purpose-built gazebo accommodating up to 44 diners to make the outdoor dining experience even more pleasurable.
Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty above the valley of the racehorse, The Hare Bar & Restaurant is situated mid-way between Newbury and Swindon, three miles from Junction 14 of the M4.
