Welcome
The Hare Restaurant in Lambourn Woodlands, formerly a traditional Grade II listed village inn, is a stylish restaurant set in an area of outstanding natural beauty above the valley of the racehorse.
The restaurant sources quality produce to serve a tempting choice of traditional and contemporary cuisine. A relaxed and pleasant ambience pervades the three pleasant, comfortable dining areas, each with their own distinctive appeal.
Our talented head chef has worked for many prestigious establishments, under some of the country’s most outstanding chefs. He carefully selects his ingredients to create stunning value dishes. His varied lunchtime menu changes weekly while his evening menu evolves with the seasons.
In the summer months, The Hare Restaurant also offers al fresco dining on its south facing terrace.
In July, we will be opening a larger bar and lounge area to allow our customers to relax in more spacious comfort for cocktails, coffee and liquors. The bar will be open all day and serve a selection of mouth-watering up-market snacks to cater for customers, short on time, but still looking for quality food.
Meanwhile, Front of House Manager, Bruno Gautier, and his skilful team look forward to welcoming you to a relaxed dining experience.
Situated mid-way between Newbury and Swindon, three miles along Ermin Street close to Junction 14 of the M4, The Hare Restaurant is the ideal venue to unwind and enjoy fine dining in convivial surroundings.
